Enron Corp and Blockbuster Inc ended their partnership after an exclusive 20-year agreement to provide video-on-demand services fell through. Despite striking a joint venture with Sun Microsystems and attempting to enter the retail energy and water trading markets, Enron's broadband services and the Blockbuster partnership ultimately failed. The movie streaming deal was cancelled in March of 2001 due to technical issues.
