Internet users in Ukraine experienced outages due to a large-scale technical failure in the network of communications company Kyivstar. The notification system was also temporarily unavailable, according to a statement by Sumy's regional military administration. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko stated that both telephone and internet services were affected by the failure. Kyivstar has stated that compensation will be provided to subscribers who were impacted by the outage. The failure did not affect the warning system in Kyiv, but some communities experienced a loss of mobile service. NetBlocks, a company that monitors internet outages, reported that Kyivstar's service had collapsed.
