The K-12 mathematics curriculum focuses on allowing students to become mathematically proficient by combining fundamental concepts with research and effective practices. By 12th grade, students will have completed Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. They can then focus on higher level mathematics such as fractions, percentages, algebra, and more, which will enable them to succeed in math. This framework merges the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics with Massachusetts standards and other features. Math programs from McGraw-Hill PreK–12 are designed to support this curriculum, as they are based on contemporary academic research. The Reveal Math® program, aligned with the Eureka Math/EngageNY curriculum, provides complete K–12 core math instruction for all students.
