The justice system in the Republic of Congo is made up of a variety of tribunals including the Peace Court, the High Court, the Labor Court, and the Commercial Court. Their primary purpose is to interpret and uphold the laws of the Republic. The judicial branch is managed by the Council and is governed by the Organic Law No. 13/011-B of April 11,2013. While the western legal system is heavily focused on criminal justice, the Congo gives equal weight to alternative methods of justice. This power is held by the various courts and tribunals, including the Constitutional Court, the Court of Cassation, the Council of State, the High Military Court, and the different courts. In descending order, the civil courts are the Court of Cassation, the Court of Appeals, and the Trial Court.
Le système judiciaire de la République Démocratique du Congo est composé d'une variété de tribunaux, y compris le Tribunal de Paix, la Haute Cour, le Tribunal du Travail et le Tribunal de Commerce.
