House Republican leaders are planning to hold a vote next month to authorize their impeachment inquiry into President Biden, who is accused of committing impeachable offenses according to Speaker Mike Johnson. In order for Biden to be impeached, a House majority must vote to adopt articles of impeachment which would then move to the Senate for a trial. Recently, House Republicans have launched an impeachment inquiry into Biden, and they plan to formalize it with a vote next week. The White House has dismissed the impeachment probe as a partisan effort. To impeach Biden, the House would have to approve at least one charge with a majority vote.
