The world is covered in darkness, with the light slowly fading away due to the darkness of shirk. Amidst this darkness, Daud promised to always sing praises and be grateful to God for His guidance. Many will die and nations will be lost, but for those who rise, there will be eternal suffering and horror. Allah uses the analogy of the Quran as a light and guide for humans in the midst of darkness. In this darkness, the most beautiful thing is the light, and being grateful for what you have. Despite limitations, people have dreams and accompanying blessings. Gratitude is the light that guides us in the midst of darkness, as shown by Daud's promise to praise God's name regardless of circumstances. If one dreams of a bright light, it is a reason to be thankful.
